About This Project
The Mt. Edgecumbe Medical Center, located in the remote island community of Sitka, Alaska, represents a critical infrastructure development for the Southeast Alaska Regional Health Consortium (SEARHC). This expansive healthcare hub required the installation of high-performance exterior glazing systems, a scope expertly executed by the specialized glazing team. The construction project necessitated a highly disciplined approach to remote mobilization, with field operations conducted in sub-freezing conditions reaching 4°F to capture critical progress milestones during the Alaskan "Golden Hour." This project serves as a landmark for regional healthcare readiness, providing a state-of-the-art medical environment for the Sitka community.
Critical Path Marketing (CPM) provided the technical documentation and visuals required for this build via aerial drone services, handheld videography as well as POV mounted camera systems. Through this specialized construction site documentation, the glazing team was able to verify production control, mitigate project risks, and showcase their capability to perform in the most extreme Alaskan construction project environments.

CPM Value
Strategic Asset Integration & Technical Verification | CPM delivered a comprehensive construction portfolio suite including professional photography and a cinematic promotional video designed to verify the clients technical mastery. As the creator of the firm's digital infrastructure, CPM provided an end-to-end solution by integrating these assets directly into the custom website built for the client. This strategic integration transformed field data into a powerful marketing engine, providing the firm with a verified record of their capability.
The high-fidelity nature of these assets resulted in a direct request from the lead architectural firm, NBBJ, to acquire the documentation for upcoming integration into their own construction marketing and global brand storytelling initiatives. This professional validation from a world-class design leader serves as a definitive benchmark for the quality and technical accuracy of CPM’s capabilities, proving that CPM's deliverables meet the rigorous standards of the industry’s top-tier stakeholders.

Challenges
Mobilization & Regulatory Compliance | This project required a mobilization from Hawaii to the freezing climate of Sitka, Alaska. Beyond the demands of maintaining camera and drone equipment integrity in a sub-zero environment, the project was situated within highly restricted airspace due to its immediate proximity to a U.S. Coast Guard Air Station. This required a rigorous regulatory coordination process with the FAA to secure the necessary flight authorizations, ensuring CPM maintained 100% compliant aerial documentation during restricted work windows.
